Meet Harrison Bernstein
Founder & CEO of Soldiers To Sidelines | Former NFL Coach | Author | Leadership & Positive Influence Expert
Harrison Bernstein is the Founder and CEO of Soldiers To Sidelines, a national nonprofit helping veterans and military families rediscover purpose through coaching. A former NFL and collegiate football coach, Harrison walked away from professional football to build an organization centered on a simple but powerful belief: everybody is a coach.
Throughout his career, Harrison has studied what makes great coaches, leaders, teachers, and teammates effective, not simply how they direct people, but how they influence others to become better versions of themselves.
Today, Harrison combines lessons from elite athletics with research in education, psychology, motivation, and leadership development to help individuals and organizations understand the science and practice of positive influence. His work explores how relationships, communication, self-awareness, autonomy, achievement, hope, and realistic optimism can improve performance, engagement, resilience, and well-being.
He is the author of The Everyday Coach: Harnessing the Magic of Influence and brings his philosophy of everyday coaching to organizations, leaders, teams, and communities across the country.
Harrison doesn't believe you need a whistle, clipboard, or job title to be a coach.
You simply need the opportunity to influence another person.
