Ryan Sorba, Citizen Journalist

Ryan Sorba is an author, columnist, and conservative political activist. Ryan is currently serving as Chairman of the Young Conservatives of California (YCC). Prior to YCC Ryan served as the Chairman of the California Young Americans for Freedom as well as National Director of Membership and Campus Leadership for the DeVos Freedom Center at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute in Wilmington, Delaware. Ryan recruited 13,876 new members his first year at ISI -more than doubling the Institute’s 55 year annual membership recruitment record. Ryan Sorba has helped to found or maintain 102 independent conservative clubs on college campuses nationwide. Ryan has given numerous lectures on college campuses nationwide on subjects such as The History of the Conservative Intellectual Movement Since 1945 and the subject of his forthcoming book The “Born Gay” Hoax, which he hopes will serve as a great asset to conservatives in the culture war.

Colonel John Fer, Veteran, Vietnam War & P.O.W.

Col. Fer began flying combat missions in Southeast Asia. He was forced to eject over North Vietnam while flying his 55th combat mission on February 4, 1967. He was immediately captured and taken as a Prisoner of War. After spending over 6 years (2,220 days) in captivity, Captain Fer was released during Operation Homecoming on March 4, 1973. Following repatriation, he served in various staff assignments in the U.S. and around the world, most notably working with representatives of the former Soviet Union to implement the Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty. He completed military service in 1990 with the rank of Colonel. He began teaching government, became a school administrator upon completion of military service, and was the principal of three Catholic elementary schools over a period of 14 years.  He currently serves as the Director of Ministries at Mary Star of the Sea Parish in San Pedro.

Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Ramirez, Veteran, Vietnam War

Ralph Ramirez  served three tours of sea-duty aboard the USS Los Angeles CA 135 (Vietnam, Taiwan Straits, Quemoy Matsu) in the US Navy (6 years) followed by the US Army Reserve and the Selective Service System for 20 years and 15 years with the CA State Defense Forces. He retired as Deputy Commander of the CA Center for Military History as a Lt Colonel (CA). He served 15 years as Board member of the California State Military Museum and founded and was Project Director of the California Military History Educational Project in cooperation with Cal State U Los Angeles,  the UC Humanities Research Institute and,  UC San Diego Supercomputer Center. Ralph Ramirez produced and directed 3 -30 minute videos: Preserving California’s oral history, Liberation of the Philippines and the Battle of Midway. The Secretary of the Army designated him with the high honor as a “Distinguished Member of the Regiment”, 159th Infantry Regiment. He has consulted and assisted business management in cash flow, insurance, real estate exchanges, Tenants in Common (TIC) and investment strategies for optimum profitability. He specializes in business continuation plans.

Morgan Brittany, Actress

Morgan Brittany is an American film and television actress, who is best known for her role in the 1980’s primetime soap opera Dallas, where she portrayed Katherine Wentworth, the scheming younger half-sister of Pamela Ewing and Cliff Barnes. She has also appeared on dozens of popular TV shows like, The Dukes of Hazzard, Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Hotel, LA Law, Murder She Wrote, The Nanny, and Silk Stalking. Recently, Morgan appeared in the comedy film Mothers and Daughters and in the romantic comedy film Americanizing Shelley. Brittany is the mother of actress Katie Gill and musician/stuntman Cody Gill. You may have seen her on the FOX network, on the Great American Panel on the Sean Hannity Show. She lives on a ranch in Southern California and is currently developing conservative, family oriented projects for film and television.

Matthew Lin, Candidate for California’s 49th State Assembly District

Dr. Matthew Lin is currently running for the newly created 49th State Assembly District which covers the cities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Rosemead, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, San Marino, and Temple City in the primary election on June 5, 2012. It was in Alhambra and Monterey Park that Matthew established his orthopaedic private practice and eventually founded the Pacific Orthopaedic Medical Center and co-founded the Pacific Independent Physician Association in 1987. Matthew also formed the AHMC Cancer Center in Monterey Park in 2011 to provide early diagnosis and treatment for patients with cancer. In March 2001, Dr. Matthew Lin made history when he became the first Asian American to serve on the San Marino City Council. During his eight years on the San Marino City Council, he served as Mayor in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Todd Spitzer, Candidate for Orange County Supervisor

Todd Spitzer has served for more than two decades in public service to the citizens of Orange County and California. He is a former California State Assemblyman, County Supervisor and Assistant District Attorney in Orange County who is a long-time victims’ rights advocate and current advisor to Marsy’s Law for All, the organization formed after the 2008 passage of the California constitutional amendment that is the nation’s most comprehensive Victims’ Bill of Rights. Spitzer was the Campaign Manager and lead spokesperson for that measure passed by the voters of California in 2008. As an Assistant District Attorney in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Todd handled complex criminal matters and supervised line prosecutors.

Dr. John Eastman is the Henry Salvatori Professor of Law & Community Service and former Dean at Chapman University School of Law. Deborah Pauly, City of Villa Park Councilwoman

Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County, Arizona

You probably know him as “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” a name given to him years ago by the media. It’s a name he certainly has earned as head of the nation’s third largest Sheriff’s Office which employs over 3400 people. In 1992, Arpaio successfully campaigned to become the Sheriff of Maricopa County. Since then he has been reelected to an unprecedented five 4-year terms. During his tenure as Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arpaio has consistently earned high public approval ratings. With over five decades experience in law enforcement, Arpaio knows what the public wants, “The public is my boss,” he says, “so I serve the public.” He has served them well by establishing several unique programs.

Kevin Sorbo, Actor & Author

General Paul Vallely, Veteran, Vietnam War

Paul Vallely retired in 1991 from the US Army as Deputy Commanding General, US Army, Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. General Vallely graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned in the Army in 1961 serving a distinguishing career of 32 years in the Army. Marc Harris, Chairman of the Tea Party Patriots in Southern California

Marc Harris is a very active member of the Tea Party Patriots, serving as the Orange County Coordinator, as a California State Co-Coordinator, and is also on the National Leadership Council.  He is also a writer and speaker, and blogs for Andrew Breitbart’s BigGovernment.com. Mr. Harris is the President and CEO of Bliss Resorts International and MHA Consulting, and is also actively involved in a green technology company, Metalast International. He is fluent in Spanish, and has lived and worked in Mexico. In 1994-96 he served on the President’s Special Panel on Land Reform and Foreign Investment, which advised President Ernesto Zedillo on reforms to land ownership by foreigners in order to attract more foreign investment and create jobs in Mexico.

Mike Munzing, Candidate for Aliso Viejo City Council 2012

Bob Kowell, President of Murrieta Temecula Republican Assembly (MTRA)

Bob Kowell is a Tea Party leader in the Riverside County area and president of the Murrieta Temecula Republican Assembly (MTRA). Inspired by the ideals of Ronald Reagan, he ran for Congress in 1988 on a limited government Republican platform.
